Setting options

You can configure Windows Media Player according to your preferences. For example, you can specify where to store digital media files on your computer, add or remove plug-ins, set privacy and security options, or select the sound quality of the audio files you copy from CDs or to your portable device.

To change settings

• If the Player is in full mode, on the Tools menu, click Options, click the tab that you want, and then change the settings that you want.

  If the Player is in skin mode, right-click the Player, click Options, click the tab that you want, and then change the settings that you want.
